Executive perspective grounded in the work.

Owen Simpson is the founder of Owen Simpson Consulting LLC and an operations, project, and organizational leader with more than 15 years of experience across demanding operating environments. His background includes service in the U.S. Army Reserve and leadership work across warehouse and logistics, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, construction, aerospace, higher education, and corporate operations.

Across those environments, Owen has led teams, supported complex facilities and capital initiatives, improved operating processes, managed projects, strengthened service delivery, and helped organizations bring greater structure to work that had become difficult to coordinate.

He holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree with a concentration in project management. His additional professional development spans project management, strategic leadership, facilities management, supply chain, human resources, construction management, technology, cybersecurity, Scrum, and related disciplines.

“I built my career by learning how to operate in unfamiliar environments, recover from setbacks, and keep delivering. OSC brings that same discipline, structure, and persistence to the organizations and professionals I work with.”

His career has not followed a perfectly straight line. It has included difficult transitions, setbacks, new industries, and opportunities that required him to learn quickly and prove himself again. That perspective shapes the way he consults today: practical, accountable, and focused on what will actually move the work forward.

Breadth with a common thread

Different sectors. The same operating questions.

The environments have changed, but the core work has remained consistent: organize people and priorities, manage risk, improve systems, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver under real constraints.

Representative work

Credibility without exposing client information.

OSC protects client confidentiality. Public descriptions focus on the type of organization, the problem being addressed, and the nature of the work—not proprietary details.

The OSC approach

Build capability, not dependency.

The goal is not to make a client dependent on a consultant. It is to leave the organization or professional with stronger information, better tools, clearer decisions, and a practical path forward.

That means defining the real problem, respecting scope, protecting confidential information, and designing recommendations around the environment that actually exists—not the one a textbook assumes.

Strategy is useful only when the organization can actually execute it.

OSC works where plans, people, processes, projects, and day-to-day operating reality meet.

Work with OSC

Bring the problem, the transition, or the next move.

Whether the need is organizational, project-based, or professional, the first step is understanding what is happening now and what needs to be different.
