Large, complex operating environments
Experience leading and supporting frontline, service, project, and operational teams in 24/7, regulated, institutional, union, and corporate settings.
OSC is built around a practical operating philosophy: understand the reality first, create structure that fits, and stay focused on execution.
Owen Simpson is the founder of Owen Simpson Consulting LLC and an operations, project, and organizational leader with more than 15 years of experience across demanding operating environments. His background includes service in the U.S. Army Reserve and leadership work across warehouse and logistics, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, construction, aerospace, higher education, and corporate operations.
Across those environments, Owen has led teams, supported complex facilities and capital initiatives, improved operating processes, managed projects, strengthened service delivery, and helped organizations bring greater structure to work that had become difficult to coordinate.
He holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree with a concentration in project management. His additional professional development spans project management, strategic leadership, facilities management, supply chain, human resources, construction management, technology, cybersecurity, Scrum, and related disciplines.
His career has not followed a perfectly straight line. It has included difficult transitions, setbacks, new industries, and opportunities that required him to learn quickly and prove himself again. That perspective shapes the way he consults today: practical, accountable, and focused on what will actually move the work forward.
The environments have changed, but the core work has remained consistent: organize people and priorities, manage risk, improve systems, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver under real constraints.

OSC protects client confidentiality. Public descriptions focus on the type of organization, the problem being addressed, and the nature of the work—not proprietary details.
Operational and business-support work involving financial visibility, workflow structure, proposal/process support, and growth infrastructure.
Advisory work involving facilities and capital-project planning, operational readiness, project coordination, and owner-side process support.
Support for professionals strengthening resumes and LinkedIn positioning, clarifying career direction, preparing for interviews, and pursuing stronger-fit opportunities.
The goal is not to make a client dependent on a consultant. It is to leave the organization or professional with stronger information, better tools, clearer decisions, and a practical path forward.
That means defining the real problem, respecting scope, protecting confidential information, and designing recommendations around the environment that actually exists—not the one a textbook assumes.
Strategy is useful only when the organization can actually execute it.
OSC works where plans, people, processes, projects, and day-to-day operating reality meet.
Whether the need is organizational, project-based, or professional, the first step is understanding what is happening now and what needs to be different.
